Rosehips and clematis

I hardly needed to bother with outdoor decorations this year; the willow in the garden has its own splendid decorations of rosehips and hundreds of clematis flowers. I've never come across such a wonderful winter-flowering clematis before. As I was taking some photographs this morning, I thought I would check how many garden species I could find in flower, to compare with the 15 wild plants I found yesterday as part of the BSBI New Year Plant Hunt. I found 18 different species in flower in the garden - amazing for the time of year.
