Power

A new gas fired power station under construction by the Ship Canal, on the old site of the former Carrington Power station (coal fired and demolished in the 1990's). This power station will open in 2016, another alongside (The Trafford power station) will be built alongside with work starting this year. This is also where the River Mersey joins the Ship Canal, leaving it just before Warrington.

Today - back at work, and very quiet.
