Gale force winds blowing some more hail and snow showers towards the Beauly Firth. The large expanse of the mudflats was being rapidly exposed, as the tide went out. Taken from the Milton area of the Black Isle.

Wild and cold day. I didn't consider taking the bicycle out for even a millisecond. Though did pass a couple of hardy souls that did venture out. Gave them a wide berth, as the side winds were making it dodgy for motorists, never mind poor cyclists. Lots of tree and other debris on the roads, along with huge puddles after all yesterday's rain, and today's (horizontal) showers.

Blipfoto is no more, and some will say that's been the case since the switch off for the revamp, a few weeks back. The revamp now seemingly being largely for amalgamation/partnership/take-over/whatever with Polaroid. I know it's not the same, and I don't like some of what's been done. But there's still no place quite like this one, largely because of the people using it. You lot! I won't be surprised if bigger players start something along it's lines, as its popularity grows. And yes, even if some Blippers feel that some injustice has been done to them, or that it's not good enough anymore, and decide to depart, it will still grow. You'll be missed by those that stay. I just hope that Blip Central stays in bonnie Scotland, and isn't shipped Stateside. It started here, and I don't deny that that was part of the attraction to this Scot.

Of course, if anyone does want to depart, you could just start a Blog, with whatever coloured background you want. Heck, with whatever rules you want!

Best wishes to all... including Polaroid Blip Central (the PBC?).
