Bell tower above the Munlochy Primary School, at dusk.

The garden, street, and pavements stayed frozen all day. There was some sunshine, which made it look lovely out, but an icy wind made it otherwise.

Trying out a lens I bought last month. An ancient manual focus zoom, that some reckon is really good, in spite of being one of Nikon's  budget E-series. Good condition, and £49 - worth a try. Surprisingly sharp here, with it at the widest aperture, and longest focal length (150mm). Though there's nothing to check what the corners are like in this shot. A fair bit of vignetting, as expected, but it's not harsh. Looks to be fun. Didn't hang about long. My fingers have enough sores from chilblains etc. as it is. Just a few snaps, and back home.
