Clematis Seedhead

I thought I should title this what it is as it really doesn't resemble the real thing.  I do love what remains after the clematis petals have fallen.  Doug had watered the garden, the droplets looks pretty so here it is.

I've used one of my macro tubes (21mm) attached to the 50mm lens at f1.4 hence the smushy out of focus effect.   I rather like doing this kind of photography and haven't used the macro tubes for some time.

We are experiencing a scorcher today without much wind.  Wonderful summer day, just the way it should be. 31 deg, phew.

Did some pottering outside this morning, but the heat sent me inside and thats where I have stayed.  Been very lazy, watching cricket and generally buggerising about.
