P is for ... Pendulous Arachnid

What a wonderful word pendulous is ...

I remember many many moons ago when I started work at Nipa Laboratories (later to become Clariant) we had an audit. We always got to see the visit reports as they concerned us, and how to improve our working practises. Every so often we would get a bad report. The one that always sticks in my mind was the one that described one of the production areas as "festooned with pendulous cobwebs" ... most people put "a bit dusty", but hey, if you have got the vocabulary flaunt it I say!

Anyways, this pendulous arachnid was hanging from the skylight earlier, and it got a 30mm macro lens shoved in its many eyes for its troubles!
