Telephone Nostalgia--London

London is keeping some of these classic red telephone booths, with phones and often even internet.  This group of four at Charing Cross,  opposite the rail station of that name, not far from Trafalgar Square.  We had been to the National Gallery to view an interesting set of  paintings by Luca Giordano with our friend Gregory, and some other things.

We went on with Gregory to the Imperial War Museum in Lambeth, where we saw an extensive set of new Galleries devoted to the First World War, focusing on Britain's role in the conflict and how it affected the country.
