Constructing the bird table

Here Susan is constructing her present from her mum. We've had a bird table in the garden for several years but it has come to the end of its natural life and has been condemned. This one, from the RSPB seems to be of better construction than the other table so hopefully will last longer.

Now all we need are birds. There's been a paucity of our little feathered friends for a while now mainly due, we suspect, to an invasion of cats. Our new neighbours have two, we found the ID tag of one of them in the garden a few months ago. They appear to have got in to the side of the shed so I recently blocked this up. No doubt they'll find another way in but we hope we can persuade the birds to return now we have this luxury dining table for them.
