Memory Park, Medlands Beach, Great Barrier Island

What a beautiful place! I'm pinching myself that I'm back here again. This is NZ as it used to be, before so much civilisation happened.
Had a wonderful swim in the Mermaid Pool, by Memory Park ( which is nearly an island, but not quite). Surfers were having a wild time on the waves while I had a gentle peaceful time in the pool, with only the odd wave splashing over. Sheer bliss!
