The Kelpies

After an absolutely wonderful week in the Highlands with great friends it was time to head back south today. 
I had wanted to see the Kelpies for some time having seen several blips of them and so we made our first detour of the day to Falkirk's Helix Park. There we met up with Maggie D and John D for a wander around the Kelpies. 
We then headed into Glasgow to drop off an enormous keyboard at L's flat  and then it was on to Shieldhill Castle for our last night before heading home to funeral arrangements. decided we needed a bit of luxury for a night and oh what luxury!
