Some Fresh Snow (at last)

As we were going to bed last night I looked out of the window into the darkness and saw something had changed. Looking more carefully I saw new snow falling and that all the clear or icy patches on the ground had disappeared under a soft white covering.
This morning the snow had stopped falling and the world around the house looked even lovelier than usual.
According to the weather forecast there is more snow on the way so it looks like winter is finally providing us with what we expect and look forward to in winter.
