Poppy Bud

Nothing much to photograph at yoga this morning so I have had to resort to a garden blip.

We have so many of these welsh poppies starting to open. I love that they self seed themselves everywhere and pop up in the most unusual places. This one was is in a bit of no-man's land between our garden and our neighbour's drive. They usually spray weed killer down this strip but there are so many poppies there I hope they leave it for a little while.

Oh well, back to the housework.
