Sunset Rainbow

So, we picked the first of our tomato crop this afternoon, which was pretty cool. Little Miss ate the ripest and assured me that they are delicious. We've put the rest in a little ramekin to ripen up for our general consumption.

Aside from that, we have been room tidying (and packing for our move!), learning how to do various, rather fancy, hair styles. We successfully styled each other's hair.

Off to drop a car at the inlaws' for a complicated 'car shuffle' we'll be doing tomorrow. Something about new tyres, blah, blah, blah!

Whilst there, we were alerted to a kerfuffle near our home. Some guy had kidnapped his girlfriend, had multiple car crashes, and was now being chased on foot by the police. Once we had ascertained that he was not on 'our farm', we returned to the house and continued as normal. He had run off in the opposite direction and as I type, police helicopters are circling above, looking for him.

Potentially rather scary, but somewhat surreal since we are not really affected by it all. Thank goodness.

So, dinner done and Little Miss practising her new hairstyles. Mr Barking watching the cricket and me just chilling out.

I changed my photo. Little Miss came running in, telling us to come out and look at the sunset. While she and Mr B raced towards the sunset, I spotted this double rainbow in the opposite direction. We were fortunate; we got to see them both! Mr Barking took this on with his phone and some fandangled app. A red rainbow is well worth documenting. I've never seen anything like it before. This shot is pretty much how it was!

Night all.
