Secessiongebäude (Secession Building)

If you like Jugendstil/Art Deco, Wien has really got to be on your to-see list.  It was here that it started.

These three gorgons are supposed to represent painting, sculpture and architecture and the whole building is supposed to represent the departure from the old traditional perception of art into the new.

You can find the Beethoven Frieze here.  Which is really intriguing and would probably merit a Blip IF you were allowed to blip it.  Which you're not.

It's tough picking just one photo a day out in Wien..
