Backlit Lily

Aglow in large.

Fresh lilies have appeared at home, so it was time for a macro and flash blip. I tried more conventional lighting, but liked the glow and intense colours created by holding the flash against the back of this bloom. I used the camera's built-in flash just to lift the detail out of the flower's inside (rather than it being fully backlit).
