Around the World in 43 days

Our boomerang parcel found its way home!
It's done a minimum of 12,204 miles and been travelling for 43 days, but today the postman rang the doorbell - and there it was! I cried......
C said "Why are you crying? I thought you'd be happy." Men just don't get it sometimes.
One end of the parcel has been cut open, but it looks as though everything is in there safe and sound.
I'm not going to undo it - we'll just take it with us when we go to meet them in February for Chinese New Year. As well as Christmas presents for our grandsons, there are lots of decorations that I made for them to hang on the Christmas tree or  wherever. We can have a second Christmas morning by the side of the swimming pool, and adorn the vegetation with felt mistletoe and angels etc.
Busy day - early dog walk first thing, then dogs had their boosters at 9 am. The postman arrived next (I could have kissed him but didn't), then the dogs went for a facial hair cut - their bodies don't need it, especially with the weather being cold, but they could hardly see past their long locks. Following the haircut, two chaps arrived to fit a new electricity meter and home monitor (so we can see how many lights we've left on). C is now out walking the boys, then I have a doctor's appointment, and finally we are going "huffing" with some friends this evening. Huffing is a pastime normally enjoyed on a Friday evening along with Technophobe and LooseCanon, but they have sent their apologies for being absent.
