The house in Lower Street

Bright sunshine this morning, but I was kept busy at work. Did not start till 10.30, though so had time to do some things at home, and to lie in a little longer.

Can't believe how pleased I am that it's the weekend! There's a party tomorrow night, but otherwise not much on the cards. Writing, perhaps, or reading some of Queen Lucia (she of Mapp and Lucia fame) which is laugh-out-loud funny in a dry manner.

Steve has lit a fire in the grate, and I am going to make a pizza as soon as the pointless quiz programme is finished.
