Lover of words and food. I am something of a poet, amd more of a Early Years worker at a mixed special needs and mainstream nursery. In my spare time, I teach aromatherapy to recovering addicts., give massage and and make aromatherapy products for a select clientele in or near Stroud, Gloucestershire, where I live with my partner, CleanSteve and cat, Bomble.

I was born in Dublin, Eire, but my both parents grew up in India. Family moved to the West Highlands of Scotland when I was ten, so I still have a blip base and two sisters there!

The written word is my passion, but after assisting at art classes locally for sixteen years, and helping CleanSteve to choose blips for nearly two years, I felt a new creative challenge coming on! My sister in New Zealand, TMLhereandthere, became a blipper about a year after CleanSteve. Re my own journal, I enjoy things that are a bit left-field, but my blips are taken on the wing, and I am still experimenting.

I've found this a most welcoming and wonderful community, and have even had holidays at other blippers' home-from-homes! Long may this continue.

Update: December 2015: I've cut my hours in nursery by half, and hope to have more blip-time and me-time. I've started a new online and face-to-face business selling greetings cards, and I hope that'll take me to some interesting locations. So far I've been to Bristol, Tortworth and Appleby Magna, as well as my local towns and villages.
