SHOP EARLY FOR --- EASTER

Went to the Metrocentre shopping centre this afternoon.  The North East is being battered by high winds so I thought an indoor shopping experience would be a good choice.  Lots of Sales still on and I got a few bargains. 

So Christmas is over and done with ---- now its time to buy your Easter Eggs.  I couldn't believe that they were on sale already.  It isn't Easter till April.

Later this afternoon a chap came to measure up for a couple of new floorboards which are needed on the landing.  He will come back tomorrow to fit them.  When they are fitted I will then be able to call the fitters back to lay the vinyl.  When they came before Christmas to lay the vinyl in the bathroom they were supposed to do the landing as well but they wouldn't until the wobbly, damaged floorboards were replaced.

A man was spotted climbing on the Tyne Bridge on this afternoon...to take a picture.


Northumbria Police say they were called to a report of the man on the bridge at around 2.40pm.


A spokeswoman said: “We attended and found a man sitting in the bottom arch of the parapet.


“He came down when officers requested and appeared to have been taking photographs.”

I hope he wasn't a blipper!
