Ferry

Looming out of the murk, the ferry to take us over to the mainland.

Actually, it was remarkably simple to get back over to the mainland today. While it was wild overnight, and I did get out of bed at about 11.30pm in order to move the car to a place that was less of a bother to me psychologically (i.e. further from the sea), it was actually quite calm and dry this morning. Once in Oban, though, the rain was incessant. We had lunch, took a circuitous drive to Loch Awe, and spent a very funny evening with our friends, and some friends of theirs.
