Crepe Myrtle

We had the family for dinner and now they have gone I realised I didn't have a blip. One of these days I will forget completely. It is raining so I wandered out to the garage and took this shot of the back yard including the tree, now in full flower.

Thankyou all for the stars and hearts for my gum tree yesterday. It is beautiful but if I was to put a tree in the garden I would prefer the crepe myrtle, it has nice summer flowers, autumn colour, beautiful bark and lovely spring growth.
