Scalloway Procession

The day wasn't as bad as the weather man had predicted, it was fairly windy and a few heavy showers and then the wind dropped off to a calm dry evening but later followed by strong winds and heavy rain.

A day off work and a wise choice that was, a bit tender in the morning after the night before.  The last props were finished off and ready for tonight.  The night ahead will be spent going around six halls doing a silly act on various people in the village, all in good fun :)

The big night of the Scalloway Fire Festival and it starts with the procession.  The torches get lit and then walk around the village before throwing the torches into the galley.  Straight ahead is Scott Henderson and Toby Sandison behind and Robert Duthie on the far right, he is in my squad for the night :)  Taken in Lovers Loan, Scalloway.
