It seems ages since I've done a big proper shop. Kat did all the Christmas work. I must be getting my appetite back because I really enjoyed going round the supermarket, planning menus and choosing lots of lovely fresh meat and vegetables.
It's only in the past year that I started buying raw beetroot. I used to think it belonged on the pickle shelf steeped in vinegar. Now I really love it as part of what I call a medley of roast vegetables.
