If you can't beat them...

Painted glass.

It was blowing an absolute hooley again today and the forecast was for much rain.  I began the day by clearing the grid on the stream culvert at the edge of the garden.  This dried the garden out in minutes.

We have the annual Visit England inspection in about 10 days and this is our quiet time so maintenance needs done etc so we went out to the lodge for most of the daylight hours.

With the weather being so foul I was left looking for another indoor blip.  When we set up the lodge we bought the pictures and ornaments from various craftsmen and women at fairs up and down the country.  This is the centre of a hand painted glass bowl we have at the lodge.  The patterns in the lighter colours are the table cloth showing through.
