Between fen and mountains

Wigtoft bank

There are very few points of higher ground on the Fens.  If there is a higher spot it is worth taking note and naming a road after it.  Interestingly this road is not straight so it suspect out it is an ancient protective bank, probably a sea defence (the sea is now five or more miles away.)  In parts the road surface is two metres above the surrounding land.  It has been a fairly ordinary day.  I went into work in the morning and then returned to delve in the freezer.  I found a tub of frozen kedgeree so that will do for dinner with a few carrots.  I am getting to the end of using up what was in a well stocked fridge, the contents of which I did not want to waste.  I am going to visit my son tomorrow but when I return i can be a bit more creative.
