Mr Pirie and his Donkey.

Today was a bit different, after an early start, I went with two other colleagues to three branches - Storrington, Horsham and Oxted. We were completing some investigation into some till problems and also fitted new customer displays, a possible solution, to the majority of tills in two branches. All in all very satisfying. However, rather than share pictures of till cabling and new displays, I spotted this sculpture just outside the Horsham branch. It was pouring with rain, so I didn't spend long taking it! This is a Mr Pirie, a headmaster between 1822 - 1869 and was apparantly often seen around Horsham with his donkey and cart. He also bought some property locally and built 15 cottages on the site now occupied by the shopping centre.
