Joy at little things

Amazing how much joy a small act of kindness can bring. This is Carys opening a surprise parcel that came by post to find a pair of leg warmers! She was so happy. So thank you very much to Mummyandgirl.

Our day went amazingly well. We all got to the Boys School in time for them both to get changed, having eaten a bento bowl of beans each. Will did his tennis lesson while Carys did her tables and spellings, then opened the parcel and finished her tea. We then wandered over to the sports centre, where Will finished his tea and read his reading book before Carys went into ballet and then I took him home. Phew, that's the worst of the week done.
