Wet wet wet

Spent today driving the new Skoda Fabia around Sussex and over the South Downs in dramatically changeable weather. It veered between clear blue sky and menacing grey clouds with torrential downpours, as line squalls of inclement weather came through. Many roads had flash floods, and this was one of them.

We had lunch in Littlehampton at a seaside restaurant housed in an oddball building, the dramatic style of which was the work of London architect Asif Khan. He is one of the finalists - and the only Brit - shortlisted from 1,715 submissions in the hunt to choose the designer of the new Guggenheim Museum in Helsinki.
