Orca pod

Today's the day .......................... to follow

Talking about going somewhere nice - we've just received this from somewhere very far-flung and adventurous.

My brother Ron and sister-in-law Margaret are on an Antarctic cruise just now - and this is the sort of wildlife that they've been seeing.  Add in such creatures as grey-headed albatross, blackbrowed albatross, great shearwater, cape petrel, Wilson's storm petrel, Northern giant and white-chinned petrel, and brown skua - and you get some idea of the fun they must be having.

I promised that if they sent us a picture, I would blip it - so here is the pod of killer whales that were playing round their ship recently.  Needless to say, we're thinking about Ron and Margaret a lot just now and are eagerly following their adventures.

We can't wait to see the rest of their pictures when they get home ...........................
