Susan Foster

Today's the day .......................... for a plaque

I walk past this plaque on the wall of a house not far from us almost on a daily basis - and yet until today, I had no idea who Susan Foster was.

To be honest, I haven't much of an idea now because there's not a lot about her available online. I know that she was a Master Weaver, she was born in 1934 and she died in 1993. She was a weaver of international renown, with exhibited work in many private collections, including that of the Royal Family. You can see two of her cushions here.
