Break In The Clouds

Woke up at 4 this morning, wondering what all the noise was - rain.  An incredible rain storm was battering the roof and managed to wake us and the cats up.  The cats understood this was a signal to start a cat war and proceeded to run and scream around the flat for a couple of hours.

Then my alarm went off.

It was still raining heavily. And I had no interest in getting wet and then having to sit in soggy trousers trying not to fall asleep in the office.  So I switched off the alarm and tried to sleep for a little bit.

The next 2 hours passed in a second.

And I was even more tired.

It rained and was horrid for most of the day, until just after 4.  When this sky happened.  I knew I wasn't going to get another picture today in real light.
