Inside the Dark Store!

Today we had a team meeting which included a tour around a new facility that will be processing customers orders placed over the Internet. This is sometimes known as a 'Dark Store' as there are no customers. It is a fascinating place, very large and quite eerie with no stock and endless empty shelves. This picture is looking down one of the many long empty aisles. It will be a very different scene in a few weeks when it opens and begins its work.
