One paw across the bridge

We trust that we have made a wise decision as we watch our lovely old gent fade. We have an appointment on Saturday morning at the vets. Until then it's love and care as usual here at Dogcorner Cottage....well, from all but his step sister.

We do have a bright spot tonight. One of our Swedish 'family" arrives after a stay in California since November. Here he is last year when his whole family was here for our wedding. He was one of or special 'attendants'. K's a 'tall drink of water' indeed. Here he is on(?) our love seat (his dad's in the background) last January.

This day came in cold and cloudy with light snow flurries.
