Wyatt Earp, California Desert

The house in the picture may be the only one that Earp ever owned and lived in.  He and his wife, Josie, lived there from 1925 to 1928.  It is located in near Earp, California, just a few miles from the Arizona border.  He lived there after his law days.  Each winter he worked a number of mines in the area till he had enough money to go back to coastal California for the summers.
