Hoy Hills

The Hoy hills still have a powdering which allows the shoulder of Heist and the corrie of the Nowt Bield to be clearly discerned.  What would W A Poucher make of this?   Some say it was his formative visit to Orkney in 1954 that inspired him to formulate his now infamous ‘Haddock in a Mist’ essence.

The Current Mrs Creel is in the kitchen whipping up a meal for our new neighbours to be, Andrew and Carla and their baby Fraser.  They get the keys to Tomasin’s Cottage in two weeks time.  I am slaving over a hot keyboard.
