Deben Walk

Back from the warmth of the Canaries to the winter cold of England. The stroll along the edge of the Deben heading from Woodbridge towards Melton is always a pleasure.

Riverbanks are always in a state of flux, continual changing by the ever returning tides. River birds returning and leaving depending on the seasons and boats that are wrecked gradually decaying.

This picture is taken halfway between Woodbrige and Melton looking back into the sun with the wreck of a boat the nearest to the camera and a couple of houseboats behind
