not a snow blip...

it is really beautiful out there today...just been for a fabulous walk....mind you it is still -9, but at least it's not windy!   i just couldn't deal with another snow blip....so i'm happily exploring the amaryllis again.   still lots of potential here i think.

my 'wee painting' of yesterday needs some work today....i'm thinking of it as a sketch for a potential bigger image.  trying to do what the big guys tell me.....work out the colours, values etc on a smaller piece of paper...then try the big one!!!
