Making friends

A cold and beautiful day, the first part of which was spent planning for the week and tackling the marking mountain, well some of it at least. Bailey was happy to potter in and out of the garden, generally amusing himself and not being as much of a bother as yesterday. And then we had an invite out this afternoon. Bailey did his best to make himself seem adorable to Lola but she wasn't particularly impressed and definitely more interested in chasing her ball,  but at least she didn't completely ignore him like last time. Another big walk before tea so now he is fast asleep and I'm watching Call the Midwife in peace. A reasonably busy week ahead so an early night is definitely called for.
