Pumpkin and Chorizo Soup

Most of the day was spent on the phone or doing things that were related to the phone calls. We're getting closer to the launch of the virtual learning environment and there's still much to do by the developers who are not liking our pushing on certain details. Testing with tutors in prisons starts in February but there is still quite a bit to do.

Which meant that today's blip is that good old standby: food. Pumpkin and Chorizo soup made from our own shallots and pumpkin and accompanied by homemade bread. Made about a gallon of the stuff as we have visitors on Thursday and the soup is part of lunch.

We managed to get out for our daily perambulations at about 7.30pm and although the weather was supposed to be cold it was actually pretty good. All the roads were very quiet; as it was a still night we couldn't hear the motorway roaring in the distance either.
