The Joys of Homeownership

I have to resort to a quick shot of our thermostat this evening which shows the current house temperature. 

At some point today, our furnace started overheating and shut off.  We weren’t sure why it wasn’t working, and a visit by one service technician has assured us that it is not the thermostat, so tomorrow we must deal with getting the furnace repaired.

In the meantime, as the outdoor temperature approaches freezing, we have no heat. Fortunately, we have an electric blanket, a couple of small space heaters and each other. :-)
