Behind closed doors

It's amazing where photography can take you... today it took me to HMP Dumfries,  where the Big Burns Supper outreach project were doing their last Lantern-making workshop,  this time for prisoners and their families at contact time. I was surprised to be allowed to take photos in the prison.. the only restrictions were that I didn't take photos of locks or keys.
On our way out,  I noticed a series of inspirational quotes on the walls. The prison officer asked for a copy of this shot,  as he liked the painting of the Nith,  done by an inmate.
