Out new landmark coming soon

Well, this area called Asakusa.
Tends to have some sights of good old Tokyo in the mid 20s (I know mid 20s is not "old" for European standard, but the sights of new areas are tall skyscrapers so this area is still considered old).
It's also famous for a old temple here called Senso-ji but I'm going to save that shot for another time.

There was a festival going on here for the following three days, and today was the last. As you can see, the roads are blocked for public and was packed with people everywhere.

And what you see in the photos are somewhat unique buildings in the area.
The building that is meant to look like a beer glass is one of our mass beer producers called Asahi's head office.
The tower on the left is called Tokyo Sky Tree. It's our new TV tower that will be open to public this week. It's 634 meters tall and the tallest TV tower in the world (the second tallest building in the world after Burj Khalifa in Dubai). Our new landmark likely to attract many tourists.

Enjoyed the evening with some Okinawa drinks with my dad for the one last time with his colleague.
See him again hopefully at New Years season.
