Crathes Castle

I thought I would repeat the theme from last weekend and take a photograph of one of the local castles with the snow. Slightly unexpectedly I did not find any snow. Instead I have a blue sky, and though the ground was damp, and very slippery in places, no sign of any snow.

In the cafeteria I found a few photographs on display of the castle with the snow, but taking a photograph of a photograph would have been cheating.

Some areas of the lawn have not yet recovered from the archeological dig that took place in front of the castle last autumn. I hope they did not dig up all the daffodils, we will not have too long to wait now to find out.
