Phalaenopsis.

A busy day sorting the lodge out after its use by people staying over for the funeral and preparing for the "Visit England" inspection on Friday.  Hopefully we will maintain our 4 star rating.

I hadn't time to go anywhere for outside shots so decided to take a shot of one of my Moth Orchids.  Usually I take close ups of a single flower.  This spray is beginning to come to the end so I decided to try one of the whole spray.

Moth orchids are ideal orchids for cultivation in a house.  Temperatures 16 - 23 C  Avoid direct sunlight but give more light in winter.  So mine spends their summer in a north facing bathroom window and flower fairly regularly.
