A long day spent mainly in darkness - both lack of light and lack of inspiration.  Work is a bit like my German at the moment, I know I'm almost there but there is something missing and I just can't see it.

Naja (German word to use when you don't want to talk about something any more and would rather move on to a new topic, actually shorter than the English equivalent of "Anyway...")

Went to see U in the hospital straight after work - she seemed a bit brighter and has apparently reacted well to the first wave of her treatments.  That's excellent news for her and hopefully she won't won't be away from home too long.

The Blip for today is a t-shirt.  U likes bears and I thought a t-shirt with Paddington on can only help in the recovery process.  Maybe it needs marmalade to go with it.
