The Garden of Dreams

Who would thought there was such a haven in the centre of Kathmandu?!

I could have shown you the Farmers' Market where the ex-pats gather for coffee and croissants. I could have shown you the shops full of yak blankets and singing bowls. I could have shown you the feral dogs sleeping in the street. But it had to be The Garden of Dreams, built in the 1920s with the proceeds from a cowrie-shell contest.
