Hot and fiery

MrsDB is making a Vietnamese curry tonight, and the ingredients looked so good I tried to get a decent pic.  However no matter what I did the results just looked like a bowl of greenery.  Then I thought I'd make the pic a letterbox shape and add some vibrancy to it by giving the pic a very thick frame with a red/yellow gradient.

The alternative shot was a chili in a bowl of pomero.  She's also making a Vietnamese salad to go with it.  Looking forward to eating it!
