Dinner on the ice

We were on Lola and Louie duty today, which is always a pleasure. One of our favourite activities is to feed the ducks at the pond not far from where we live. As you can see most of it was frozen over, so there was great hilarity watching the ducks sliding about all over the place as they gobbled up the bread that the children had offered to them. Unfortunately it wasn't only the ducks that were caught out by the ice. The wee fella slipped too and landed on his face in a puddle so our trip was cut short to get him home and into dry clothes. Mercifully no lasting ill effects though. Kids are so resilient!
