Mr & Mrs Chaffinch

Unlike Mr & Mrs Robin - where you can't tell t'other from which - the sexes of Mr & Mrs Chaffinch are easier to distinguish as they are differently coloured; only the male has the rosy tummy and chest. I did my one hour's RSPB bird count yesterday, but I still watched the birds awhile today. A dunnock turned up who didn't appear yesterday for the count. Hey ho! That's birds for you!
