Am I too late?

I'm afraid you are too late to be counted, Blackcap! Why do these birds always wait till the day after the RSPB bird count to turn up? And there were twice the number of chaffinches today! And the dunnock arrived again! Thrush celebrated his having been in time to be counted (although he only arrived in the 58th minute of the one-hour count) by having a good bath in the pond.
